- 2 cups hot milk;
- 1 cup of sunflower oil;
- 2 eggs;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of sugar;
- 1 tsp salt;
- 1 small bag of instant yeast;
- flour - how much will it take (approximately 6 cups);
- cottage cheese or cheese for the filling.
First, separate the whites from the yolks. Yolks temporarily remove to the side. Pour hot milk, vegetable oil and egg whites into a bowl, add sugar, yeast and mix well. In the mixture pour half the flour, salt and begin to mix with a spatula.
When the dough becomes thick enough, add more flour and continue to knead by hand.
As a result, we obtain elastic, elastic, non-stick dough. Cover it with a film and remove to a warm place for 1.5-2 hours to fit.
Knead the dough one more time, divide it into pieces the size of a large egg, cover them with film and begin to form bagels.
From each lump we roll out an oval cake about 2 mm thick.
We spread on the edge of the curd filling.
We make notches with a roller to cut the dough, and then roll the workpiece into a roll and bend it with a crescent.
We put the finished bagels on a baking tray at a distance of 3-5 cm from each other and let it stand for 30-40 minutes, after which we grease with egg yolk and send it to the preheated 190-200 C oven for 25-30 minutes.
The readiness of bagels can be judged by the appearance and smell of fresh pastries carried around.
